Tuesday evening, 30 September, 20h00, at conference site: "LHC public lecture and round table discussion".

Wednesday afternoon, 1 October, excursion to the nearby town of Trogir (world heritage site) and reception by Mayor of Trogir.
Thursday evening, 2 October, 20h30, at conference site: Concert of the maiden assembly of the city of Luzern and the chamber orchestra of the city of Split.
Friday evening, 3 October, 20h00, Marina Frapa near Trogir, conference dinner.

 

Recommended trips and visits for accompanying persons:


One day trip  to the nearby islands Brac and/or Hvar,  check the time table of Jadrolinija.

Visit to the Krka national park,  beautiful waterfalls of the river Krka, about 1 hour by car from Split.

Visit to the Kornati Archipelago (another national park), by excursion ship departing from the nearby town of Sibenik ( 1 hour by car) or  Zadar (2 hours by car).

Dubrovnik: In the deep south of the Croatian coastline is the Dubrovnik region whose centre, the city of Dubrovnik, in Croatia and across the world bears the title of the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Split-Dubrovnik by bus /car takes 4-5 hours.

Plitvička jezera (Plitvice Lakes): Croatia's most popular tourist attraction, was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. Located roughly halfway between capital city Zagreb and Zadar on the coast, the lakes are definitely a must-see. Split - Plitvice Lakes by highway 2,5 hours.
